Posterous theme by Cory Watilo

Imagine...

"No we are not weeds. We are organic flowers and greens. Am I not worthy of being loved just as is a rose? Perhaps you are fighting reason to see I am as beautiful as are yellow wild field chrysanthemums? Did you know as an added bonus many in the know make my greens into a delicate salad? Yes some people even buy them at the supermarket! You haven't heard about the healthful benefits of bitter greens? All this beauty and bounty is free you silly little humans to enjoy yet you kills us with pesticides and make us look vile. Pity indeed! Yet after all this we come back again each Spring with hope of being loved again. Won't you love us too?"

I wrote above words remembering as a child how I would see what was considered a "weed" as a flower. I have learned so so much through the clear minds of children. Their imaginations, while to many may seem fantastic, appear pure and genuine to me.

I see no beauty in an plastic manufactured gadget as I see in my miniature bouquets of flowers.
I hope you will join me in opening up your world to the joys of simplicity.
